Lightship Creatives

Guiding Our Stories Home

Lightship Creatives is a storytelling duo of two best friends who both like to tell stories and share them with the world.

Summary

For three brilliant detectives, love might be the one mystery they can’t solve.

The year is 2015, and a scandal has caused chaos to run amok in this quiet little Japanese country town. Protests are brewing, and angry citizens are egging the Inaba Police Station. Literally.

Tohru Adachi has his eyes set on proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Akira Hiraoka. But when a misunderstanding stirs up old insecurities, coupled with an unexpected turn of events for Akira, he begins to question whether he’s really the man she deserves-or if staying with her is selfish and holding her back.

After a certain up-and-coming public figure publicly chastises Naoto Shirogane, pushing her over the edge, she finds herself facing fallout, suspended from her duties as a detective. As if that weren’t enough, her “situationship” with Kanji Tatsumi is turning rather… serious. While she continues to run from the truth, Kanji is harboring secret of his own that could make or break their relationship.

Ryotaro Dojima has enough on his plate. Maybe a bit too much on his plate. Between an unwanted promotion to police chief and a town in uproar, romance is the last thing on his mind. That is, until he’s stuck hosting an intimidating houseguest over the holidays who leaves the hardboiled detective at a loss for words.

Welcome to Christmas in Inaba.
